hi,

I’m a New York based photographer focused on documentary street photography, portraiture, architecture, and live performance. Most of my work revolves around atmosphere, movement, and everyday moments that normally go unnoticed.

My creative background started in New York as a child studying acting before eventually moving into claymation, visual storytelling, and production work. Over the years, I worked throughout the city in studio, production assistant, and camera department roles across music, television, live events, branded content, and independent productions before focusing fully on photography.

A lot of that experience across different forms of visual media still affects the way I shoot today. I’m heavily influenced by cinema, music culture, architecture, and everyday urban life, and I try to create images that feel personal and real while still having a cinematic feeling to them.

Some of my work has ended up in magazines and exhibitions internationally, but most of the time I’m just walking around documenting whatever feels interesting or real in the moment.

see you around,

silvano
